THIS WINCH WAS MANUFACTURED IN BILOXI MISSISSIPPI AND EASY TO GET ANY PART FOR. IT IS PERFECT FOR A SMALL TRAWLER UP TO ABOUT 50 FEET IN LENGTH AND UP TO ABOUT 300 HORSE POWER.  ALSO GOOD FOR INDUSTRILA WINCHING NEEDS WHERE NO OVERHEAD LIFTING IS REQUIRED OR LIFTING OF PEOPLE. THIS TYPE OF WINCH IS NOT SUITED TO LIFT PEOPLE AS THE FLAT WINCH PLATES HAVE KNOWN TO SLIP AND MAKE YOU FALL. IT WILL ALSO MAKE A GOOD SMALL PILE DRIVER WINCH.
